Shane Gross

Shane Gross is a professional marine conservation photojournalist based in Nanaimo, BC, Canada. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan and living for 8 years in The Bahamas he has found his home on Vancouver Island. Shane has photographed everything from massive sharks, whales and crocodiles to tiny seahorses, nudibranchs and tadpoles to charismatic sea lions, manatees and octopus. If it lives underwater, Shane wants to capture that which makes the creature special, and they are all special! Shane also shines a light on human’s impact on the oceans through climate change, ocean acidification, plastic pollution, invasive species, overfishing, habitat destruction and our proclivity to drive species towards extinction.
His images have been seen all over the world in publications like National Geographic, GEO, BBC Wildlife, Smithsonian Magazine, Biographic, and many others. Shane has won countless international photography awards including the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Underwater Photographer of the Year, and Ocean Photographer of the Year. Shane is an Associate Fellow with the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP) and has shot assignments for Greenpeace, The Nature Conservancy, WildAid, the iLCP and others. His first book, Bahamas Underwater, is out now.
Ivana OK &Janez Kranjc

Ivana OK and Janez Kranjc, diving teammate with more then 25 years of diving together. For them diving is not an occupation. It is their life. To be more precise, their life is a combination of diving and photography. Ivana started her diving career 40 years ago and Janez did it 27 years ago. They are both SSI Instructors and operate a diving center in Belgrade Serbia, while also organizing expeditions and trips all over the World.
They are correspondents to various magazines, including: National Geographic, Scubalife, 24Divers, ScubaShooters, ScubaDiving and many more. Furthermore, they have been very successful in National and International competitions regarding underwater photography. Among their successes, they would always highlight a silver medal won at the 2017 European Champioship in Spain. They organize different workshops and courses about underwater photography and they are regularly involved in many marketing projects for the diving industry, with their famous teamwork always being under the spotlight.
They are Brand ambassadors for Mares and DAN for some time and now they will also start as ambassadors for Marelux. Ivana and Janez now using Nikon Z7II cameras in Marelux housing.
Aleksander Nordahl

Aleksander Nordahl has for years been one of Norway´s finest photojournalists. Now he spends more and more of his time working on stories and projects related to the ocean. He has been scubadiving and freediving for over 30 years and is still an active freediving instructor. For the last 10 years all his underwater photograhy is solely done while freediving.
Through the years Nordahl has produced national and international documentary stories as well as portraits and features. As a photojournalist he has portrayed human kindness and beauty, but also the cruelty and suffering of war, capitalists , dramatic news events and small children in happy play.
His photos have won many national and international awards, among them prizes in the prestigious World Press Photo competition. He has also won the Norwegian Photo of the Year Prize twice, in 2017 with a picture from the war zone in East Aleppo, Syria and 1999 from Kosovo. Still, his passion is freediving underwater photography and now he uses his skills in photojournalistic and fine art projects about the oceans. His photographs, mostly from arctic waters, have been in exhibitions with very good revues, they hang inpermanent exhibitions and in architectural projects, both nationally and abroad.
